General admission tickets are R150pp, seniors over 65 are R100pp, and kids between the ages of 5 and 12 are R100pp. Kids under 5 are free!
We have an exciting line up of events, shows, and exhibitions covering everything from music, cars, bikes, and sports, to shopping, dog shows, aerial displays, jumping castles and the beloved fun fair!
Tickets are available online at www.webtickets.co.za, and they will also be sold at the gates.
Gates open at 09h00 daily.
Unfortunately, not – apart from service dogs/visual-assistance dogs.
Smoking is not permitted in any area with a fixed roof.
The Pietermaritzburg Showgrounds have clearly demarcated ablution facilities, as well as baby changing-facilities.
Tickets purchased can be redeemed on any day, regardless of the date displayed on the ticket. So, if you change your mind or something comes up, you can go on any day between the 10th and the 20th of October.
Tickets are single-entry only, so once redeemed at the gates, they will no longer be valid.
The Maritzburg Show will be under the watchful eye of the Iron Eagle and MI7 teams who will be available and on standby respectively to assist, if required.
The public are encouraged to adopt the standard precautionary measures applicable to crowded environments, particularly in respect to personal belongings.
This is a family event, so absolutely no weapons of any kind will be permitted.
Absolutely! The concert day events have jam-packed lineups, so feel free to bring your own blankets. There will be seating available on a first-come first-served basis. Please note that no food or drink items (including alcohol) will be permitted as these will be on sale.
Public parking will be available in the grounds of Riverwood College (formerly Voortrekker School) every day of the Show. Parking costs will be clearly displayed.
